Halogenerator performance

SaltPerfect™

Optimized halotherapy. SaltPerfect™ is the pinnacle of halogenerator technology – engineered for optimal salt particle size and distribution, for deep penetration into the respiratory system and maximized therapeutic effect.

Optimized halotherapy

The gold standard in halotherapy

Our innovation-driven team developed SaltPerfect™, the pinnacle of halogenerator technology. Engineered for optimal salt particle size and distribution, it ensures deep penetration into the respiratory system for maximized therapeutic effect – guaranteeing a consistent, superior experience for every client.

Why particle size mattersLarge, visible salt particles in a room, cabin or chamber indicate suboptimal treatment – and carry a risk of lung irritation.
SaltPerfect™
The science

Why is it important?

Deep lung penetrationSmaller particles reach deeper into the lungs, down to the alveoli - essential for reducing inflammation and helping clear mucus, especially for chronic respiratory conditions like asthma or COPD.
Increased surface areaSmaller particles have far greater surface area for the same mass - more salt in contact with the airways, enhancing anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects and removing more mucus.
Improved mucociliary clearanceSalt therapy draws water to the airways to thin mucus. Smaller particles distribute more easily across the respiratory tract, improving clearance.
The benchmark

The optimal particle size

In halotherapy, particle size is crucial. Respirable particles in the range of 0.1–3.0 microns are considered most effective for reaching the deeper parts of the lungs.

  • Not easily visible to the naked eye
  • Do not irritate the lungs
  • Minimal waste
  • Deep penetration
  • Substantially better results
Not entertainment

Salt therapy is not about visual entertainment

When a halogenerator produces salt particles large enough to see, effectiveness drops sharply. Oversized particles deposit in the upper airways - or are never inhaled at all - leading to inconsistent outcomes.

Too much salt means:

  • Trace amounts can be systemically absorbed when the environment is oversaturated (salt is meant to be inhaled, not ingested)
  • Irritated lungs and eyes, and coughing
  • Shortness of breath
  • Fog-like, salty air
  • Wasted salt on floors, chairs and walls
  • Salt escaping between sessions - spreading to other areas, including heating and cooling systems

Industry-leading performance

As the charts show, our halogenerators are industry leaders.

Over 73%

of particles smaller than 0.51 µm

Over 94%

of particles smaller than 1.1 µm

Under 0.16%

unused residue (particles larger than 5 µm) - minimal waste

Halogenerator salt deflector inside a salt room
Even, efficient delivery

The salt deflector

Positioned opposite the halogenerator inside the room or cabin, a well-designed deflector is key to optimizing therapy.

  • Separates particle sizes - directing a higher proportion of beneficial smaller particles into the room
  • Even distribution - uniform treatment for every client, wherever they sit
  • Comfort & safety - fewer large particles that irritate lungs and eyes
  • Efficient salt use - more cost-effective operation
  • Cleaner rooms - less salt deposited on surfaces, easier maintenance
