Spa Service Transition Times Great Opportunity for Halotherapy
At a recent iSPA Town Hall on the COVID response by spas, the transition time between clients was discussed as a way to make the return to spas safer.
“We are doing 30 minutes between treatments. I find that gives us time in the treatment rooms to go through the extra steps in the sanitation process,” says iSPA Town Hall moderator Patrick Huey on the benefits of additional turnover time between treatments.
Something to explore could be to utilize halotherapy as a place for clients to go before or after services. This could provide the needed buffer between services as 20-30 minutes is the perfect timing for a halotherapy session. Halotherapy is also a service that doesn’t require any personnel like massage, reiki, etc. Finally, halotherapy provides the natural anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties of salt.
